Interested Party comments are due by 12th November 2014 and the hearing is due to start on 9th December 2014. 15th January 2015 – Planning Inspectorate (PINS) published the result of this appeal allowing the developer to proceed with the development of 48 dwellings. Outline Planning Application 13/3698Csubmitted by United Utilities Property Services to build 5 houses on a small field off Forge Lane. The application was approved on 4th February 2014.
Full Planning Application 13/1414C submitted by MCI Developments (Wigan) to build 15 houses on Forge Lane was approved on by the Strategic Planning Committee at their planning meeting on 14th August 2013, although the Notice of Decision was not issued until 16th September 2013. This is on a small field about 200m from the entrance of Forge lane, and behind Pavilion Way.
